We met for the first time (so I thought was the first time) in August 2007 when Mike was working with....
We met for the first time (so I thought was the first time) in August 2007 when Mike was working with Tonia (my Maid of honor) at a local bar and grill. He would ask Tonia to put in some good words about him to me, So she did and we had our first date on December 7, 2007. We went to Mediterraneo caffe on Federal Hill in Providence.
So here's were our story shifts, While were talking at dinner Mike says he has something to tell me, (I get a pit in my stomach not knowing what he was going to say). He tells me approximately 2 years ago he would see me out with one of my other friends and noticed me several times, so one time when I was sitting alone waiting for my friend to come in (watching me singing every song to myself, that played on the juke box), he decided to say to me; " I have been watching you sing every song, You are like a human juke box", I then replied with a short answer of ; " Thanks". ( and the conversation ended there), he sat there not knowing what he should say next, so he didnt say anything and then my friend came in and I was off with her.
As he's telling me this story at dinner Im remembering this exact scenario and who he is, he's the guy that would play the golf game all night long and didnt seem to be interested in anyone, but just that game. Never would I have thought he was trying to get my attention. Unfortunately not to long after the night he "tried" talking to me, the bar was sold and my friends and I no longer went there.
So now 2 years has past and my dear friend Tonia gets a job at a different bar and grill. I went to visit her one night when she was working and to much of Mike's surprise I came walking through the door, as he is shocked and thinking to himself (that's the girl from the other place).
Well Mike says to me; "Hi, how are you?", I replied back with; "Good thanks, nice to meet you, Im Lynn". Of course he was even more shocked that I dont know who he is.
Within in the next few weeks Mike had said to Tonia and I he knew us from the prior place, Tonia and I didnt know who he was, until it came to our first date and Mike telling me the story on how he was interested in me in the past and knew one day he would see me again.
As you can see the story came to a great ending and we are now getting married! See you never now who you will meet in your past that one day could become the most important part of your future!
